Lets Celebrate!!!

Afternoon everyone, hope you are all well.
Its the last day of term today at school and nursery, so here comes 8 long weeks of (hopefully!!) lovely summer hol's! Although I say its the last day neither of my two are at school or nursery1 Meghan came back last night at midnight from a trip to Alton towers so she is exhausted, as she went away at 1-30am on Thursday morning so 24 hours with no much sleep does not make for a happy teenager! lol. And as Alex attends nursery in the afternoon there isnt any on today as they end term at lunchtime. But he did have his 'graduation' ceremony on Wednesday. I also have pics and news to share about Meghan as she won an Art prize and scholorship at school, so one proud mama here ;o)

Its Friday so its time for a new challenge over at Tilda's Town, And our theme for this weeks challenge is

CELEBRATE!

So I thought I would do a 4th of July inspired card for all my lovely bloggy friends over the Atlantic, but it seems like I wasn't the only one on the team with that idea! lol.
But even though we used the same image, Liberty Tilda, the cards couldn't be more different!

So here is my creation, I hope you like it :o)

CARD RECIPE

IMAGE - LIBERTY TILDA
DIES - MAGNOLIA
STARS - HAND CUT
FLOWERS - WILD ORCHID CRAFTS
 PAPERS - BO BUNNY
RIBBONS, PEARLS, LACE AND TWINE ALL FROM STASH
WORDS TO NATIONAL ANTHEM FROM INTERNET

Wow What a stunning card Kat. Your colouring is fantastic - she looks just like she's made of stone. The contrast between the image and the bright red, white and blues is gorgeous.
Have a lovely weekend.
