Aussie Tilda!

Hi lovelies!! hope you are all well. It is really horrible here today, the rain is just pouring down, so much the great weather we had been having, typical british weather! I hope it brightens up for the weekend.

I have my card that I made for the MDUC. I must admit when I saw the theme last saturday night, I kinda freaked out, this is so not my colour combo and Its taken me nearly all week to figure it out. But thats the whole point of challenges, they are meant to take you out of your comfort zone.

I have used Australian Tilda, this stamp was given to by my lovely friend Sara for my birthday, thank you sweetie xxx

Evening lovelies, I am here with a very quick post with a card to share. But first I just wanted to explain why I havent been around much or visiting your blogs. My computer decided uts antivirus was gonna kick some butt last wednesday!!! it took it upon its self to decide that every blog, including mine was a malicious site and could not be viewed!! so there have have been some ongoing battles with the computer. Its been working ok today so fingers crossed we have solved the problem. I will try and visit you all as soon as I can ;o)

ok so onto my card, I have made this to remind you that there is a new challenge over at Tildas Town, and you still have a couple of days left to enter. The theme is WATER FUN!

Hi everyone, I have been trying to get this card finished all day, but I kept getting distracted with the lovely weather! I have been out playing in the garden with the kids, chatting to neighbours and doing some weeding in my small bit of garden, helped along by my westie Bobby! not!! lol

anyway on to why I am here, I have another tilda card to share, I was making this one for both the MDUC, which was to make your own embellishments, and for the challenge and dt call over at midweek magnolias.

The embellishments that I have made are the pink butterflies made from rose trim, well I hope they look like butterflies to you, my hubby said they looked like flowers! huh!! men

I found a video on you tube showing how they were made but now I cant find it to give the link, I will check again later.

Well what do you think? do they look like butterflies, I think so, maybe not 100% perfect but getting there

Wow what a gorgeous day it was yesterday, as I am writing this at midnight just before I head to bed I dont know what it will be like today but the forecast is good ;o)

how long will it last though?? that is the question? I have been told that june is meant to be a good month but we are not in june yet so who knows.

I have a saturated canary card to share but first, 

I love taking my pictures on Meghans camera as I keep coming across great pictures of Alex and Maya, so here are a couple that she took last week,

They are so alike in looks but oh so different in nature! talk about chalk and cheese! lol

Afternoon everyone, hope you are all well. thank you for all the lovely comments on my 1st dt card for the 1st tildas town challenge, its great to be up and running.

Well its sunday so its time for a new challenge over at Paper sundaes, but its a bit of a sad one for us. After much discussions Christine and Shana have decided that todays challenge will be the last one. They have been running it for just over 2 years now and have decided to close down the challenge to have some time for family and for themselves to get back into crafting. 

I am going to miss this dt so much, I have had the best time and have loved every minute of it, so a big big thank you to christine and Shana. I hope you both get lots of playtime making cards and getting some time back.

So for our last paper sundaes challenge the theme is Pretty in Pink.

Good morning lovlies, I am typing this just before I head to bed, I have been trying to catch up on dt cards, and I managed to get 2 made, still another 2 to go but I am hoping to get them done tomorrow (EDITED - oops that should be today! oh so tired!!)or friday. 

I decided to take a break and make a card for the MDUC as I always enjoy taking part in their challenges, and this week the challenge is a sketch and the option of doilies and doohickey dies, so of course I choose everything! lol. Its a fab sketch by Lori, it is definitely one for my sketch file, lots of lovely layers :-)

also thank you for all the wonderful comments about my two new dt positions, I feel so so lucky to be a part of these fab teams. I cant believe that in a week or two it will be my first blogaversary. My first Divas Card

I have used another of the newest tildas, tilda at key largo, I masked it with an older scenery stamp from magnolia. We are trying to get the word out that its not just hAnglar stamps you can use but also magnolia ones, so spread the good news.

Here is my card, I used my all time favourite stamp, Silver Fairy, by silvia Zet for Whimsy.

It just goes to show how often I use this stamp when Meghan saw the coloured image on my desk and pipes up 'how many times are you going to colour that in?' to which i replied,'as many as I want!'
