A Gorjuss bookmark....

Hi everyone, By the time you are reading this I will be at the secc at the hobbycrafts fair spending lots of pennies on some new goodies, yipppeeee!
So its sunday again, (is it just me or are the weeks just flying in?), which means its time for a new challenge over at Paper Sundaes, and this week we are sponsored but the utterly gorgeous Sugar Nellie.
So this weeks challenge is to make a bookmark, whether it be corner or another design.
I decided to go with a corner bookmark as Ive never made one before, I cant believe how easy they are! Meghan chose the image as she wanted the bookmark for herself, so she chose a gorjuss girls image, beary hug, and ive made it using her fav colours.
Remember to pop over and see the rest of the design teams gorgeous creations.

Winter wishes...

Good morning blogland, well the sun is shining today and it looks lovely outside. Its a bit chilly but at least its dry :-)
The last two days its never stopped raining so to have a lovely dry day is fab, especially as my kids are on their half term break, Ive still got two apple trees to plant and the garden needs clearing of lots of leaves so might get a chance to do that later.
I got a chance to sit down for a few hours last night to make cards, I managed to get one finished and one almost done, Ive also just printed off two Krista Smith images so hopefully get to colour them later
The card I have to share with you today was the one I finished last night, Its for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl challenge,  which is a sketch and inspiration photo,

The photo inspiration is optional, but you have to use the sketch. I decided to use both.

Favourite colour combo ....

Hi everyone, well its sunday again, where does the time go, the weeks seem to be going past so quick, there just never seems to be enough hours in a day.
Well lets get onto this weeks new challenge at Paper Sundaes, which is to use your favourite colour combo and we are sponsored by Letraset.
So another easy one, cant wait to see what you all do.

Ive chosen pale pink and duck egg blue, I just love these two pastel colours together, it always looks so soft and girly.
Ive used another Sylvia Zet digi, Silver Fairy which can be bought HERE. I think she has to be my favourite image of all time, she can be coloured so many ways and she always looks amazing.
Im so glad some of Sylvia's images have been released in rubber, I received this image yesterday in the post so expect to see a lot more of her.
Ive coloured her with promarkers and the new flexmarkers, ive used flexmarkers to colour her dress and wings, and I just love how soft they look. Of course Ive used copious amounts of stickles on her wings. The gorgeous lace, which is woven between the flowers came from my lovely friend Sara and the pearl brad and silver charm came from another blog buddy Sarah, thank you both xx
