Fun in the sun

Morning lovelies, this is a very quick post today as I have got to get into the craftroom and sew, sew, sew!! Two days to the craft fair and I still have quite a bit to get done.

So, anyway, its time for a new challenge over at Mo's and this week our lovely hostess with mostess is the wonderful Elaine and she has chosen 'Fun in the Sun' as her theme for us. I still havent got round to getting ink for my printer so I had to hunt through my stash of images already printed for a suitable image.

And I found one of Mos cute sailor boys playing with his boat and I thought it would be perfect. 

So here is my card and now of to work I go! HiHo, HiHo its off to sew I go!

Some very exciting news.....

What I am am here for is to share a bit of exciting news, I have been keeping this secret for about two weeks now and now I can share!

Most of you know Krista Smith and her Saturated Canary line of digis and stamps. I have been a fan for a long time and love colouring her images. The saturated canary challenge blog and you tube team are well established, and now there is a new team, a Creative team for inspiration, and I am a dt member of that team!!!!!!! Yaaaaay

Bright Colours at Mo's

Morning lovelies, and I hope you are all well. 

Well when I saw this weeks theme, I did have a little panic as I dont really do bright colours all that often, well not through choice! So thank you Franz for pushing my limits a bit.

I have used the gorgeous little umbrella image, isnt she fab?

Here comes summer? Eh???

Well hello lovelies! It feels like ages since I posted anything!

I have had printer issues, had problems printing stuff and now run out of ink! Thankfully I had some images already printed out that will suit a few upcoming dt cards, and the others I can use rubber for, but it is killing me not being able to print out my new digis!!

This post is for a dt card for Deep Ocean challenge, our theme for this one is 'Welcome Summer' which explains my question in the title, eh? Where, cause I cant find it!! Lol it is a lottery every morning at the moment deciding what to wear, do I get the summery stuff out or bring back the wellies! I know Scotland is well known for having all four seasons in one day, but it is getting beyond the joke at the moment. Well I can tell you the weather forecast for Saturday 29th, rain! And how do I know that you ask? Cause our schools finish up for the summer next friday, so saturday will be raining! 

Anyways, onto my card, I have used one of my new tildas, I thought she was the perfect choice for the theme as she looks so summery.

Oh,and before I go, there is something very special coming soon, I am so excited I could burst!! I am sitting on a huge secret and cant wait to share it with you all, but for now I need to shhhhh!

Our first Kids challenge at Mo's

Morning Lovelies, 

well its time for our first ever childrens challenge over at Mo's.

The theme is simple, adult entries to make a card using a 'child' image by Mo, and children can enter using any of Mo's images. There's lots more details on the challenge blog.

My kids haven't quite finished their cards yet so I cant share them with you but I do have my card made! 

I will do a post later on with my kids cards.

I hope you can and your kids, grandkid's, nephews and nieces can join in, its such a fun idea!

Here is my card I have used the cute baby fairy bee, and gone a bit bright on my colours but it seemed to fit the image better than paler colours

For a girl at Deep Ocean....

Well hello lovelies, it feels like forever since I made a dt card at deep ocean challenge, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at the team for allowing me time off and just leaving it up to me to decide when I am ready to join in, it really means a lot.

I have coloured up another of Kristas gorgeous images that she designed for Little Darlings. As soon as I saw her I fell head over heals in love with her, she is just adorable! Definitely a favourite from that release.
