Sketchie, a copic fairy!..

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well. Where is this year going?? I cannot believe its May already, the days and months are just flying past so quickly, another month and my baby boy will be 5!!! and starting school in August, something I am not looking forward too. I seem to get worse as I am getting older, I had no worries when Meghan started school, but I am already getting myself all worked up about Alex going. Its probably to do with his nature, he is such a quiet and sensitive boy. He's my loving and caring little man, and I know I have to let him go and grow but I'm still a mum who worries.
I have no concerns at all about Maya starting nursery, my only worry is for the other kids, she's my little whirlwind. Nobody knows what's hit them after she's been around!! lol
Well how many of the new Saturated Canary images did some of you buy?? hmmmm I was reasonably good. I just bought 4! I have managed to get a couple coloured up, after spilling a whole glass of coke over 4 images that I had already coloured today!!!, this one this morning is a second attempt, what am I like?
This one is called Sketchie, I just love her! she is just fab and I had the urge to give her pink hair, no idea why! Thats the thing with Kristas images, they 'tell' you what to colour them, well the tell me!! maybe Im just loopy??
no do not answer that!!!

Moving quickly on, heres my card ;o)

isnt she just divine??
love her!

she is absolutely amazing-- how you've brought the fairy to life!! you color with maaaaaad skillz girly;)!!!

you are not alone worrying about your guy! philly cried when i left after the field trip just the other day...broke my heart...

boys are so different than girls that way...funny how a mom feels about her little guy's heart, but the girls we just know can handle the world!!:)

have a great day, friend!!! xx

Morning Kat, oh my! What a stunning card! Gorgeous colours and love the trim - it is just amazing!

I stressed myself out no end when Emily started school last year (and she was only just 4!) but she's coped with it brilliantly and loves going. She is a complete little madam (in the nicest way!) at home but out and about she is very shy and I was positive she wouldn't like school! They tell us that she is very quiet and doesn't join in much, but she says she loves it and is very upset when she doesn't go! So I worried for nothing.

I'm now worrying in case she doesn't like Year 1!!!

I'm sure Alex will be fine I'm sure, I'm assuming here he has friends in his year? That will help, that he knows other children. But I know, the worrying never stops does it!

Cheerio

Hello Kat,

Gorgeous card, fantastic colours you have used.. loving the texture on this one too..

Alex will be fine, but we always find something to worry about with our little ones even when they older (my mum tells me lol)..

My youngest was 3 last week. And he has just started preschool. He loves going but i think the teachers find him hard work trying to keep him calm. He is just one big whirl wind. Always looking for the next things he can play with or climb over.. And yet my eldest who is in year 2 is so shy at school. He only communicates through writing and nodding etc... He does not speak at school but it has not stopped him joining in and learning.. I have noticed that kids are great at adapting to their new enviroments.

Alex will be fine, Please let us know how he gets on..

Hugs Kelly
