Sweet Honey..

Morning lovely bloggers,  I do hope you are all well. Gosh can you believe that we are almost into March!!! where has the month gone? It only feels like yesterday it was the 1st of jan! lol Not that Im complaining as hopefully getting into March will bring some lovely spring weather, and of course i like march as its when my birthday is!! yipeee. I am goining to be the ripe old age of 38!!! on the 1st, why do i still feel like Im 20 in my head? lol Oh dear, just think 2 more years and I will be 40!! not looking forward to that one. Well actually I am as Meghan will be 18 the same year and we have decided as our present we are going to New York, woohoo cant wait for that. Hubby is a bit put out cause we said we were going on our own, but he cant argue now as he is off to munich in October, to go to oktoberfest.
I have another saturated canary card to share today with you, this one is called Honey, she is just so sweet. I have coloured her with prismas as i havent used them for ages. I wanted to give her a soft vintage look and I think prismas really work with that look. I have used prima sparkling spring papers which I have been trying to get my hands on for ages,  found them on ebay the other night so was a very happy girl! I just need to find pink paislee butterfly garden pad now and I would be even happier. I added a little ruffle of seam binding along the edge of the image, I will definitely do this again as its gorgeous.

Card recipe
image - honey by Krista Smith
papers - sparkling spring from prima
medium - prismacolor pencils
flowers - woc and stash
heart - ribbon girl
lace and seam binding - ebay
butterfly - cheery lynne

Hi Kat, sorry I've not been around much just lately (seem to be saying that a lot don't I). Just been catching up on your cards - gorgeous as always. This one is just stunning, wonderful colouring and I love your butterfly!

Hope you are feeling a bit brighter now?

Sounds like a good idea New York for your 40th - wish I could persuade hubby that we should do something like that! Not blooming likely tho, Hell and freezing come to mind in the same sentence!!!

Sarah

PS - 40 isn't too bad, I think anyway I'm still getting used to it!!
