Easter at the paper shelter

Hi again, I am back with my 2nd dt card for today, this time its for The Paper Shelter, the challenge for this week is is a nice and easy one, Easter.

Good morning everyone, well the weather is still holding here, it is just beautiful, and what have I been doing? washing everything in sight like a woman possessed!! lol Well you gotta make the most of it while it lasts lol!

Right well lets get onto the reason for this post, its time for a new challenge over at crafty creations challenge. This weeks theme is Game On, so anything to do with sports or games. I chose to use this very cute edwin stamp, it fitted in perfectly with the theme and it was also ideal for me as it was my big brothers birthday last week. And as he is a mad keen Celtic fan I just had to go with green and white!

Tilda and the beanstalk...

Good morning my lovely bloggers, I hope you are enjoying the joys of spring,(well here in the uk anyway!) isnt this weather just fab? It reached 21 degrees here yesterday, how long will it last, well as its the easter hols starting here on friday I guess by friday 3-30pm it will be back to the usual March weather! lol I am planning on getting started on my little bit of garden, I am planning to grow some veggies and fruit this year, not sure if they will survive the sea gulls though, we have had them nesting in an old building just behind our house for the last 2 years, they drive us mad as they insist on circling the house in the wee small hours squawking for several hours, and once the chicks get out onto the roof of the building they then started to dive bomb me when I was hanging out the washing!! So any advice would be gratefully received, I dont mind them nesting just dont want to get attacked by them!

ok enough of seagulls!

 I have a card to share today. I decided to make another tilda card, I am loving this collection sooooo much!! This one I have made uses the very cute beanstalk tilda and her beanstalk.

This is only the 3rd time I have masked images as I always struggle with it, and this is also the first time painting a scene with distress inks. I am fairly please with how it turned out.

I wanted to apologise if I haven't left you any comments lately, blogger decided to freeze me out all week, so I have been able to visit your blogs but not leave comments. I have done all the usual stuff like change to google chrome etc but blogger just wouldnt play ball!! even tonight I still cant leave comments on everyone's blog but it is getting better so I am hoping its sorting itself out!

The other main reasons for being absent this week have been due to the fact I have been unwell. First off I have had an tooth abscess which has been seen too but I had to get my tooth packed and an appointment made for me to go back and see my own dentist when he comes back from holiday (4 weeks from now!!!)but the packing has already started to come out so I think I will be back before then.

Then to top my week off I have had the mother of all migraines. It started on tuesday evening with a slight sore head which I put down to my sore mouth and jaw. But no I wasn't getting away that easy by midnight I was vomiting, lost the vision in my right eye and felt like my eye was going to explode with the pressure in my head. So I have been left a bit washed out and generally feeling bleurghhh!! So not a lot of crafting happening here this week.

Morning everyone, right I am going to warn you now this post is VERY VERY picture heavy. So go grab a tea, coffee or whatever you fancy, put your feet up, sit back and relax.....

When MDUC announced their challenge this week was to celebrate their 3rd birthday, I knew I had to join in the fun. And I knew exactly what I wanted to make. I have had this blank castle album in my craft cupboard for sooooo long, to be honest I cant even remember buying it, oh dear how bad is that? but I came across it a few weeks back during one of my many clearouts. And when the new tildas were released I knew they would be so perfect together. So I have been busy since sunday making this, I made myself put it aside on mon and tues, till I had finished 2 dt cards, (I still have another 2 to get done by for sun, christine and sara if you are reading this I will get them done,I promise scouts honour!!!)

I really really struggle with boys cards, it actually takes me longer to make one of these as I can sit with it for hours debating what I can and cant use! lol
